Situated just one mile from Sunderland city centre and railway/metro stations at Sunderland and Seaburn and metro station at St. Peters Riverside, the Marina is easily accessible by road and public transport.
Sunderland Marina is ideally situated for day sailing northward to the Farne Islands, or southward to Whitby, and being only minutes from the open sea is ideal for an angling day trip.
Sunderland Marina has open sea access at all states of the tide, with no locks, bridges or obstructions, making it an excellent location for the novice sailor. The minimum depth in the Marina at LAT is 2.2m.
Security
We endeavour to take great care of your investment. The Marina is staffed 24hrs a day. Regular checks are made to pontoons, berths and car park. Access to pontoons is restricted to berth holders and their guests. Access gates are controlled either by staff or berth holders electronically coded keys.
