Risk Assessments

The Centre is licenced by the Adventure Activities Licencing Authority (No. L5560/R0537) to deliver specified activities (this is only relevant to the 8 – 18 year age group). The centre is also a Recognised Training Centre for both the Royal Yachting Association and the British Canoe Union. All these organisations carry out annual inspections of the centre where they review our risk assessments, operating procedures staffing qualifications and equipment to ensure we operate in compliance with their requirements. Their inspectors are highly qualified in the field in which they operate.

We hold a complete set of H & SE Risk Assessments at the centre which are available for inspection at the centre by any user group. All our staff are appropriately qualified in accordance with the National Governing Bodies requirements and have the professional experience to deliver all of our activities.
